Mild, with a soft crunch, and a slight tang to it. Not salty at all. No need to rinse it three times like the typical tough, over salty sauerkraut in a jar. I love this stuff. Goes great with pork in any form. My favorite so far was with country style pork ribs, browned, and then braised with the sauerkraut spread on top with a little water. |
