We enjoy good ol farming the natural way. Our animals live outdoors to pasture graze the way nature intended and during winter we shelter them indoors.

A note from the farmer, Amos Miller

Back in the year 2000, Amos Miller and his father attended a meeting where Sally Fallon, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation, gave an excellent speech on the importance of eating healthy food...this was the start of where we are today!!!

We enjoy good ol farming the natural way. Our animals live outdoors to pasture graze the way nature intended and during winter we shelter them indoors.

Our Mission

To provide authentic farm fresh, nutrient dense, non GMO, chemical free, hormone free, antibiotic free, great tasting and truly organic food employing conscientious organic standards with traditional farming methods.

Our Vision

To enhance health, nutrition, and well-being of all individuals while enjoying our large selection of fresh raw dairy, 100% grass-fed pasture-raised beef, fermented veggies, and breads (some contain soaked grains), and treats.

The Farm

COWS & BEEF

Our raw dairy comes from mostly Jersey cows that are strictly fed grass and hay. A free choice smorgasbord of minerals is supplemented to maintain a healthy balanced diet. The cows are fed no grain.

We are in the process of converting our herds to the better heritage A-2 breed that produces higher protein content in raw milk. Together with other local farmers that practice the same conscientious grain-free down-to-earth standards, we supply the demand of fresh cow milk and cream.

Our beef cattle are mostly Red Devon and Angus crossbreeds. Their diet is strictly grain-free. We now carry beef hotdogs, beef bologna, beef glands and beef jerky.

GOATS & SHEEP

We don’t have goat and sheep on our farm so we collaborate with local farms that practice our natural farming methods to provide grass fed raw dairy and cheese. The same is the case for lamb and mutton.

CAMELS

We milk our camels to provide raw milk as a valuable natural medicine for autism, diabetes, intestinal health and immunity.

POULTRY

We offer a variety of chicken, turkey, duck and goose.

The poultry is free-range, GMO-free, and soy-free. During warm summer months, they feed on insects as a great source of protein when they scratch and peck the pastures of their natural habitat.

Our chicken/duck eggs are soy-free.

VEAL

We try to keep veal in stock, but the cost of milk required to fatten veal is quite high. Therefore, when we run out of stock, veal will be substituted by beef unless “no substitution” is specified by the customer.

SEAFOOD

We offer wild salmon and Icelandic haddock from the clean rivers of Alaska.

PORK

Our pastured hogs are fed mostly milk-based ration of whey from cheese making and organic oats. It is soaked in skim milk and served with GMO-free corn. Some folks say our hogs eat a “cleaner” diet than most Americans!

Our ham and bacon are cured, salted, and smoked without addition of sweeteners.

HEALTHY OILS

The olive oil comes from century-old olive trees grown on the Dancing Goat Orchard in Greece. We carry a very special fermented coconut oil from Samoa as well as cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil from the Philippines. We offer the full line of Green Pasture supplements such as coconut ghee, cod liver oil, butter oil and skate liver oil.

BAKERY

We bake bread with sourdough and soaked grains. Sprouted spelt bread is also available. Other goodies baked here at our farm include gluten-free muffins, sprouted grain shoo-fly pie, angel food cake and gluten-free coconut cookies. We have spelt noodles and soaked spelt noodles.

SWEETENERS

The maple syrup comes from Vermont and it is processed utilizing natural methods. Raw honey is collected locally and we also carry the brand Really Raw Honey from Maryland.

DRINKS

Taste our healthy beverages: cabbage juice, kimchee juice, daikon radish juice, apple cider, grape juice, lemonade, ginger ale, kombucha, cranberry kombucha, and beet kvass. Sourdough kvass comes from Canada.

FERMENTED VEGGIES

All the produce is chemical free and mostly grown locally in Lancaster County, PA. It is then processed at Miller's Farm with Celtic Sea Salt and apple cider vinegar to provide delicious fermented veggies that are excellent for healthy digestion.

CRISPY NUTS

The crispy nuts are prepared as recommended by the Weston A Price Foundation for optimal digestion. They are purchased raw and then soaked for 12 hours to remove phytates and enzyme inhibitors. The raw nuts that are imported when they are domestically unavailable include cashews, pumpkin seeds, brazil nuts and macadamia nuts. Almond butter and cashew butter are made locally with soaked nuts. The soaked granola cereal contains raisins and almonds.

TREATS

Our delicious sweet potato chips and the Amos brand potato chips are made from our own pork lard and local chemical-free potatoes. For a more affordable alternative, check out the local brand Zerbe chips that are made from conventional lard and potatoes. Other delicious treats prepared here at Miller's Farm include egg custard, ghee, mayonnaise, honey mustard, salsa, pumpkin and zucchini bread.
