One of the best tasting fermented dairy items
If you have trouble getting family members to eat fermented foods, try creme fraiche: completely rich flavor. Much better than any creme fraiche you'll find in a high-end grocery store (or a high-end restaurant). Also, once you have the creme fraiche culture, you simply add leftover cream to it, stir it, leave it out overnight (covered) and you have more creme fraiche in the morning. That way, your leftover cream won't go to waste.
